Creating independent bibliographies
It is possible to create a bibliography in Word without linking this to any in-text citations. To do this:
Note: You need to make sure that you move all your references across at the same time. If you try and add extra references at a later stage they will display at the end of the list, rather than alphabetically.
- Open Word and EndNote in separate windows that are viewable at the same time.
- Highlight the selection of references in EndNote that you want to include in the bibliography (you may need to use the Ctrl key to do this).
- Hold down the Ctrl key and drag and drop the references into Word.
Note: You need to make sure that you move all your references across at the same time. If you try and add extra references at a later stage they will display at the end of the list, rather than alphabetically.
