Sharing your library

It is possible to share your EndNote library with other users by saving it in a read-only format.
This will allow more than one user to access the library at the same time and insert references into a Word document, but not to edit the library in any way.
  • Save your EndNote library to a shared drive.
  • Within Windows Explorer select Properties and then click in the box to allow Read-only access. (You will need to do this for both the .ENL file and the .DATA folder.)

In the meantime, if you need to import references from Emerald please email me and I will send you a copy of the filter to download onto your PC. (H.Perkins@coventry.ac.uk)
